Post Game of Thrones ... [SPOILER ALERT]

I can't believe it has been a week since Game of Thrones has ended and we have to wait 2 YEARS!!! for another episode. Now I know in my head, that there are a million reasons for such a wait and I don't want them to rush through production because it wouldn't be the show we all love.

There are going to be many spoilers through out this post, and if you are not up to date with Game of Thrones, then why?/? its already been a week.

This season was everything and more!! The Stark's reunited in Winterfell, Jon and Dani finally teamed up,we found out Jon is the true heir to the Iron Thorne and that he is actually a Targaryen, White Walkers, Dragons(my fav), Littlefinger is Dead, the wall being destroyed by an Ice Zombie Dragon and so much more.

I think out of the whole series my favourite moment was during episode 4 and the Dothraki were riding into battle against the Lannister army, and they are stood up on their horses and then within the same scene when Dany rides in on Drogon,it was just amazing especially with Drogon being unleashed and lighting the whole place on fire . The whole battle scene was incredible and almost as good as the Battle of the Bastard.

My only complaints with the episode and the series in general, I wish that they had been brave enough to kill off some of the main characters. The unpredictability of the show is one thing that i love, there were a couple of moments where I had wished characters hadn't survived, Bronn and Jaime (on a number of occasions) during episode 4 and Jaime during the finale, and as much as I hate to say it, Tormund (I just loved the scene between him and the Hound when they went above the wall),but on the other hand, I really hope he survived the wall being destroyed.

I also have to discuss Littlefinger finally being killed off!! I feel like everyone has wanted him to die at some point, he was on the same level as Joffrey in that everyone was so happy when he died, but he was an excellent character. I won't spoil it completely for any one that hasn't watched it yer, but it was so satisfying to watch.

It was such an amazing season and I am counting down the days until the final season begins. If you still haven't taken the plunge and started watching Game of Thrones, its not to late and you should take the plunge.

What was you favourite moment or episode from the Season?

Game of Thrones New Promo

A new promo trailer for Game of Thrones Season 7 has just dropped an I lover it!!

The promo shows Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Cersie Lannister (Lena Heady) slowly walking down separate corridors to the song Sit Down by Jame, with all three ending up in separate rooms and sitting down on different Thrones. The final shot is of Cersie breathing out cold air and the camera pans out to a blue eye, which I assume is an eye of a White Walker.

The promo doesn't show anything else but it has done its job, I am excited for the new series to start on the 7th July. I would imagine that we will get more promos leading up to the 7th which I hope will show some more of the characters, but i don't want it to give to much away.

Who else is excited?? Only 107 days to go!!

If you haven't seen the promo yet, check it out below!

Spider-Man Homecoming Trailer

The second trailer for Spider-Man Homecoming has just dropped and it looks awesome!!

When I heard that Marvel has acquired the shared character rights for Spider-Man, I was really excited especially after how bad the Amazing Spider-Man 2 was, and after more details were released and Spider-Mans appearance in Civil War, I have no doubts that this film is going to be great.

The film is suppose to be following on from the events of Civil War and Peter/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) is trying to balance his life as Peter Parker and his duties as Spider-Man, with a little help from his mentor Tony Stark/ Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr).

From what I have seen so far, I think Tom Holland is a good choice so far as Spider-Man, and seems to have a really good dynamic with Robert Downey Jr. His appearance in Civil War was the perfect introduction to MCU and I also like that they have hired an actor who is close to the right age, especially as they are focusing on Peter Parker being in high school.

The trailer shows us more of Peter interacting with the other characters especially with Tony Stark and I can't wait to see how their relationship develops in the film. We also finally get to see our first look at Michael Keaton as the Vulture, I really hope he will be a really good villain, as the MCU is seriously lacking in a good Villain other than Loki.

The film is being directed by Jon Watts and this will be his debut blockbuster film. The film also stars Zandeya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon and Tony Revolori.

I am really looking forward to watching Spider-Man:Homecoming when it is released on the 7th July 2017 and I can't wait to see Marvel finally be able to make a good Spider-Man.

If you haven't seen the trailer yet, have a watch below!

Justice League Official Trailer

The first official trailer for Justice League has just dropped and I am still excited to see this film.

The trailer is mainly made up of some great actions shots of each of the characters, a few lines of dialogue with a mention of a big bad villain, which from recent articles the villains are Steppenwolf and the Parademons.

We finally get to see some more shots of the new characters to the DCU, The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) as well as Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Women (Gal Gadot),  we don't see any shots of Superman (Henry Cavill) however he is listed on IMDB that he will be in the film, so I am assuming that his role will be kept secret until closer to the release. The trailer does also briefly shows Amy Adams reprising her role as Lois Lane and we also get our first shot of J K Simmons as James Gordon.

When I heard that Zack Snyder was going to be directing the Justice League, I'm not going to lie, I was kind of disappointed. I didn't really enjoy Batman Vs Superman, I've watched it twice and feel like i'm never getting that 6 hours of my life back. My highlights of the film were Wonder Woman and that Ben Affleck wasn't awful as Batman.

I am really looking forward to seeing Ezra Miller as The Flash, I think he is a really good actor and will bring a little bit of comedy to the film, which I think is going to be pretty dark. I can't forget about Jason Momoa who will always be known to me as Kahl Drogo from Game of Thrones, Aquaman is more of an unknown DC Character to me and they are planning a solo Aquaman film, so I am hoping this will make me want to see more Aquaman.

No matter how bad any reviews for this film will be, I am still going to go and see it when its released on the 17th November 2017, no matter the reviews, but after seeing both the trailers for Wonder Woman and Justice League, I am far more excited to see Wonder Woman!

Check out the Trailer below!!

Baywatch (2017) Official Trailer

I really want this film to be good! I loved watching Baywatch as kid and I really really want this film to be good. The trailers are not doing the job in convincing me that the film is going to be good and that they are giving a lot of the jokes away in the trailer, but I am going to reserve judgement until I see the film.

Dwayne Johnson will be taking over from David Hasselhoff as Mitch Buchannon the leader of Baywatch, the film also co stars Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach and Priyanka Chopra. David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson rumoured to make an appearance.

If you haven't seen the trailer yet, watch it below and let me know your thoughts. I enjoyed the trailer and it looks like its going to be a good funny popcorn movie.

The film is set for release on the 26th May 2017 and I do really hope its going to be a good, action packed, summer popcorn movie.

The OA ...

I don't even know where to begin to explain The OA, amazing, weird, unique ... I honestly don't know.

I watched the first two episodes a month or so ago and over the weekend binge watched the last 6 episodes, finishing that last episode last night and I am still don't understand what was actually happening, I will probably need to watch it again to try and make some more sense of it.

The series is one of the most brilliantly unique TV shows that I watched in a very long with each episode twisting a changing your perspective on the story line. Every person I speak with can not speak highly about this show!

The series revolves around Prarie Johnson who reappears after being missing for seven years, when she was missing Prarie was blind but when she is found she can see again. The series follows her story of what happened when she was missing but I don't want to give away any spoilers and ruin the experience for anyone. Just go and watch it.

The OA is one of the best Netflix original series that I have watched. There are only eight episodes, each episode is a slightly different length, perfect for binge watching.

The show was created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij and stars Brit Marling, Jason Isaacs, Emory Cohen, Scott Wilson and Partick Gibson.

I truly is one of the best shows I have ever watched and I highly recommend!!

And if you have watched it, what do you think happened?

Game Of Thrones Season 7 .... 118 Days to Go!!

So its been a while ( ...nearly 2 years) since I wrote a post, through no major reason other that life happened. When I first started this blog I was at University and had a lot of free time and now work and life is taking up to much time. I am trying to get back into writing again and when I first saw the new Season 7 trailer for Game of Thrones, I was inspired to start writing again.

If you haven't seen the above trailer and your a Game of Thrones fan, then where have you been!!

I love Game of Thrones and I can't wait for the new season to start especially after how amazing Season 6 was!!

I have so many expectations going into this season and hope it will be building up to the eventual battle against the White Walkers but I am going to thoroughly enjoy the journey leading up to the battle.

When I heard that there is only going to be 13 more episodes airing over the next 2 years, I was a little disappointed. I wanted the show to go on forever, but on reflection I am glad that they are not going to drag it over 10+ seasons like some TV shows do, as it can get boring over and monotonous. I hope having to wait that little bit longer this year means we are in for an exciting series and I can't wait to see a full trailer.

Mark your calender's for July 16th (US) and July 17th (UK) only 118 days to go ... Winter is Coming!!
