Chrome Cast Review
I know this is more of a tech review but i wanted to share my views on the Chrome Cast as i have been using it to watch a lot of Netflix!
I got a Google Chrome Cast for Christmas, and the reason that i wanted one really was to watch Netflix on my TV instead of my iPad or Lap Top. I read some reviews on amazon before i put it on my Christmas list and they were very mixed, some loved it and others hated it saying that it doesn't work very well and doesn't stream properly. So i set this up on Christmas day and have used it a lot over the last few weeks and i have not used my iPad or Lap Top to watch Netflix at all!
I have to say that i have had no issues what so ever getting my Chrome Cast to sync, when i first used it, it took me a little while to get it up and running as it needed various updates downloaded for it but once i all the updates had finished and i had a play around with some of the apps that work with it YouTube, BBC iPlayer and Netflix and i have had zero issues streaming anything. All i do is click on the stream to Chrome Cast on Netflix or YouTube and its streams. Using my iPad to stream i can also use my ipad at the same with out interrupting the stream to my TV.
I haven't tried some of the other streaming devices that are available but i know people who use Apple TV and Now TV and they love it but for the price and for what i wanted the Chrome Cast was ideal a pretty inexpensive compared to other options available.
I don't know why people don't like the Chrome Cast, saying it doesn't work properly, the only thing i could think of is maybe there Internet connection isn't very good or they expected something different than what the Chrome Cast is but i think its great and definitely worth the investment.
You can get the Chrome Cast on various different websites including Amazon.

Ant Man Trailer
I am still undecided as to whether or not i enjoyed the trailer or whether or not Ant Man is going to be any good, The trailer is good but i just want to a bit more to get me more excited for the film. But with Marvel's track record i am holding out hope that this film is going to be an unknown success similar to Guardians, maybe not as big but hopefully will have the same reaction.
I love Paul Rudd i think he is a great actor, when i heard he was cast in the role i was a little surprised by the choice a little, but i think he will bring another angle to the Marvel universe, i would love to see a scene in Avengers Infinity Gauntlet with him, Robert Downey Jr and Mark Ruffalo!!
I don't really know much about Ant Man but what i do know is that Scott Lang (Rudd) a con man that inherits a super suit with the ability to shrink in size but increase the strength and embrace his inner hero to save the world.
Check out the trailer below
I know that the film has has some issues regarding directors with Peyton Reed taking over from Edgar Wright ect but Marvel have such a good track record with these films that i have know doubt that this will be any different, I will be in line to see this at the cinema.
Along with Paul Rudd the film also stars Evangeline Lily, Michael Douglas, Hayley Atwell and Corey Stoll.
The film is set for release on the 17th July

2015
So it is officially 2015 and you if Back to the Future 2 predicts anything to be write i hope i can put Hover Board on my Christmas list for next year along with Star Wars being good!
2014 was a big year for me i graduated university, moved back home and got a job in the real world and starting a new step in my life that leaves school behind which i am so happy about!
Any way some of the highlights TV/ Movie wise of 2014 were Guardians of the Galaxy which was amazing, The third series of Sherlock which was even better than the last two, Matthew McConaughey in True Detective, Game of Thrones, Captain America 2 and some other great films and TV shows.
But 2015 has some great things to look forward to Avengers Age of Ultron which i think i am looking forward to the most, My fingers are crossed for Jurassic Park 4 and Star Wars to be good and i have a feeling that Terminator Genesis maybe doomed along with the Fantastic Four Reboot.
I can't wait to see the new Cinderella as it is one of my favourite Disney films and we can't forget about 50 Shades of Grey being released. This years Nicholas Sparks adaptation The Longest Ride looks like it will be a tear jerker.
2015 is going to be a great year for film!
What are you most looking forward to in 2015??
Happy New Year!
