Video footage for the hotly anticipated Veronica Mars movie has been released today, and i for one was so excited to see it because i can not wait to see the film. After the big Kickstarter campaign that broke tons of records the film is getting closer to being released.
The footage shows Veronica (Kristen Bell) living in New York with Piz (Chris Lowell) but gets pulled back to Neptune when Logan (Jason Dohring) is accused of murder (again).
Check it out below
Rob Thomas revealed that Veronica hasn't been working as a private detective and part of the film is about her returning to the life she left behind.
Through the new promo we see some of our most loved characters including Wallace (Percy Deggs), Dick (Ryan Hansen ), Mac (Tina Majorino) and Vinnie Van Lowe (Ken Marino) along with interviews with the cast and crew.
But the ultimate question is whether you are Team Logan or Team Piz!!
I have to say as much as i like Piz i am deffo on Team Logan, i have loved him since the first episode.
I thought it would be a good time to write a post about probably the most talked about film casting i have seen since Twilight with everyone having an opinion as to who should play the two main characters.
Every male lead seems to be linked with this film from Robert Patterson to Matt Boomer to Alexander Skarsgard and i was excited when i heard Charlie Hunman was cast as Christian Grey because i absolutely adore him in Sons of Anarchy (if you haven't seen the show i highly recommend it, its BRILLIANT!!) and was bummed when i heard that he had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts but it then just started the whole 'who's it going to be' rumor mill again,
But finally the character has been recast and Jamie Dornan has been cast in the coveted role, don't know who he is? well i didn't either so i googled him and realised that he was in a few episodes of the ABC show Once Upon a Time but that is about it so i can't really judge his acting skills but in my mind i pictured Christian Grey a little differently but you never know he could pull it off.
What do you think?? Was he the right choice?? If not who would you have chosen??
Chris Evans is back as our favourite super soldier Steve Rodger aka Captain America!!!
After the first film we see Captain America wake up in the modern day world and is now part of the shield team working with Black Widow (Scarlette Johansson) and Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) along with The Falcon (Anthony Mackie) as the team up to fight their latest enemy.
The trailer looks awesome and i has me excited already check it out
Reprising their roles from the previous films are Hayley Atwell, Dominic Cooper and Toby Jones, joining them will be Emily VanCamp, Robert Redford, Cobie Smulders and Frank Grillo and not forgetting Stan Lee's cameo.
I am really looking forward to this and hopefully it will lead into the next Avengers film like the previous one did. As well i am looking forward to how they are going to bring the characters from the first film into this one as they all should supposedly be dead so at the moment i am assuming that there are going to be some form of flash backs involved but you never no i could be wrong and they could be alive some how as this is the Marvel world.
The film is due to be released on the 4th April 2014
I love Metallica seen them a number of times in concert and when i saw that they were doing a film i was so excited.
But it isn't just like any other live band film there is also a side plot to go with the liver footages.
Trip one of the bands rodies is sent out on an errand during the show, after he pops some pills he heaeds out on the errand and starts tripping out and send shim on a wild adventure. This is all mixed in with teh amazing concet footage that runs parrell witht the young roodies adventures through the city.
The trailer looks amazing especially the live footage of the band and i know how spectacular they are live so i can't wait to see what it looks like on screen.
Just the intro to Enter the Sandmand send shivers up ,my spine everytime i here. Its such and EPC song.
This is such a great twist the generic live concert video makes me want to watch it even more with such a good sub plot.
I am sorry it has been a while since i have posted anything i got wrapped up in uni assignments and then doing crazy work shifts over the summer. Now that i have settled back into uni i will try and get more posts out.
I still can't decided if i like this film or not. I love Disney films and i am always excited when i here of a new one come out but this time i don't know. I felt like there was something missing from the story and it took me a few times of watching to work out why and then it hit me . . . there is no Prince Charming or a character of his type which is a constant present in Disney films which i am missing this idea of living happily ever after doesn't occur. I think its because i am so use to the way in which the Disney narrative goes that i feel like the film is missing something with out the 'Prince Charming' type character.
But with that said the film is really good and the animation is spectacular but you wouldn't expect anything less from a Disney Pixar film and it lives up to the Oscar it won for the animation in the film, it is well deserved. The landscape of the film is spectacular and is always outstanding when it comes to modern day animation.
The story follows Merida (Kelly MacDonald) the only daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) but she doesn't act the way she is suppose to, she likes to go off exploring the land and we see this in the opening of the film but her mother Elinor (Emma Thompson) has other ideas on how a Princess should be and Merida doesn't like it at all. She has invited the clans to compete in the Highland Games for Merida's hand in marriage which she isn't to happy about and isn't afraid to voice her opinions.
This leads to a fight between her and her mother which results in Merida running away. She finds herself at the home of a witch (Julie Walters) and gets a spell to 'change her fate' if she gives it to her mother which can only mean one thing, everything goes horribly wrong and Merida has to fix what she has done, not going to tell you what happens because Spoiler!
The story line is quite predictable but we don't watch Disney films for their over complicated story lines because their target audience is children and they want to be able to laugh which this film has plenty off especially with Merida's little brothers Hamish, Harris and Hubert the triplets who provide some of the best bits of the film with all the antics that they get up to they steal every scene that they are in and add that something extra to the story line
The film is really good and the characters are brilliant, with an excellent plot and i really enjoyed the film but in my opinion there was just that little something missing that would have made the story even better. But the bond that grows between Merida and her mother is touching but hilarious at the same time. All the characters make you laugh especially the triplets and its just a fun family film.
The film stars the voices of Kelly MacDonald, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson and Robbie Coltrane.
If you haven't seen Brave then check it out its currently running on Sky Movies and is available on DVD from amazon for £13.50
I keep seeing trailers and TV spots for it and its making me even more excited.
Before i saw the last film i was never really into Star Trek but JJ Abrams sure changed my mind it was a brilliant film and i can't wait to see the new one when it is released this summer.
Chris Pine is back as Captain James T Kirk at the helm of the USS Enterprise that has been called back to earth after an unstoppable force has reeked ciaos and destruction on Star Fleet and Earth. Its up to Kirk and the crew to hunt down and stop who ever is responsible.
Joining Chris Pine is Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, John Cho and Simon Pegg with the fabulous JJ Abrams behind the camera.
I have really high hope for this film as the first was so good, it had me hooked in minutes and hopefully the next will deliver. The trailers look brilliant and i can't wait to see Benedict Cumberbatch as the bad guy as i am so used to him as being the fabulous Sherlock Holmes and i think he is a brilliant actor.
And Chris Pine well don't really have to say much about him, he is brilliant and i think his James T Kirk and Zachary Quinto's Spock have such a great chemistry between them and i am excited to see how that has developed since the first film.
The trailer for the film looks really good so check it out!!
The film is set for release on the 17th May so mark your calenders and if you haven't seen the first film yet do!! its fab!!
