X-Men: Days Of Future Past First Trailer

The first trailer for X-Man: Days of Future Past has been released today and i was so excited to see it. The film blurs together the characters at different time periods in their lives so we see them as we see in X-Men First Class and the original X-Men film, which i thought was a very interesting concept.

Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is sent back in time by Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian Mckellen) to change a historical event that has a major impact on the fate of Human and Mutant kind.

James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender are both back playing the younger versions of Professor X and Magneto along side Hallie Berry, Jennifer Lawrence, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Nicholas Hoult, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Lucas Till, Evan Peters and Daniel Cudmore.

We were given a little sneak peek of the film at the end of The Wolverine and i really hope they explain how Professor X is still alive after he was vaporized buy Jean Grey on the middle of the 3rd film but i am really excited to see how the concept will work with Wolverine going into the past and also the mixing of the different characters. I can't wait to see more of the trailers and the film when it is released on the 23rd May 2014.

Veronica Mars First Film Footage

Video footage for the hotly anticipated Veronica Mars movie has been released today, and i for one was so excited to see it because i can not wait to see the film. After the big Kickstarter campaign that broke tons of records the film is getting closer to being released.

The footage shows Veronica (Kristen Bell) living in New York with Piz (Chris Lowell) but gets pulled back to Neptune when Logan (Jason Dohring) is accused of murder (again).

Check it out below

Rob Thomas revealed that Veronica hasn't been working as a private detective and part of the film is about her returning to the life she left behind.

Through the new promo we see some of our most loved characters including Wallace (Percy Deggs), Dick (Ryan Hansen ), Mac (Tina Majorino) and Vinnie Van Lowe (Ken Marino) along with interviews with the cast and crew.

But the ultimate question is whether you are Team Logan or Team Piz!!

I have to say as much as i like Piz i am deffo on Team Logan, i have loved him since the first episode.

What team are you on?

50 Shades of Grey

I thought it would be a good time to write a post about probably the most talked about film casting i have seen since Twilight with everyone having an opinion as to who should play the two main characters.

Every male lead seems to be linked with this film from Robert Patterson to Matt Boomer to Alexander Skarsgard and i was excited when i heard Charlie Hunman was cast as Christian Grey because i absolutely adore him in Sons of Anarchy (if you haven't seen the show i highly recommend it, its BRILLIANT!!) and was bummed when i heard that he had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts but it then just started the whole 'who's it going to be' rumor mill again,

But finally the character has been recast and Jamie Dornan has been cast in the coveted role, don't know who he is? well i didn't either so i googled him and realised that he was in a few episodes of the ABC show Once Upon a Time but that is about it so i can't really judge his acting skills but in my mind i pictured Christian Grey a little differently but you never know he could pull it off.

What do you think?? Was he the right choice?? If not who would you have chosen??

Captain America: The Winter Soldier First Trailer

Chris Evans is back as our favourite super soldier Steve Rodger aka Captain America!!!

After the first film we see Captain America wake up in the modern day world and is now part of the shield team working with Black Widow (Scarlette Johansson) and Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) along with The Falcon (Anthony Mackie) as the team up to fight their latest enemy.

The trailer looks awesome and i has me excited already check it out

Reprising their roles from the previous films are Hayley Atwell, Dominic Cooper and Toby Jones, joining them will be Emily VanCamp, Robert Redford, Cobie Smulders and Frank Grillo and not forgetting Stan Lee's cameo.

I am really looking forward to this and hopefully it will lead into the next Avengers film like the previous one did. As well i am looking forward to how they are going to bring the characters from the first film into this one as they all should supposedly be dead so at the moment i am assuming that there are going to be some form of flash backs involved but you never no i could be wrong and they could be alive some how as this is the Marvel world.

The film is due to be released on the 4th April 2014

Metallica Through The Never

I love Metallica seen them a number of times in concert and when i saw that they were doing a film i was so excited.

But it isn't just like any other live band film there is also a side plot to go with the liver footages.
Trip one of the bands rodies is sent out on an errand during the show, after he pops some pills he heaeds out on the errand and starts tripping out and send shim on a wild adventure. This is all mixed in with teh amazing concet footage that runs parrell witht the young roodies adventures through the city.

The trailer looks amazing especially the live footage of the band and i know how spectacular they are live so i can't wait to see what it looks like on screen.

Just the intro to Enter the Sandmand send shivers up ,my spine everytime i here. Its such and EPC song.

This is such a great twist the generic live concert video makes me want to watch it even more with such a good sub plot.

Can't wait to see it!

Brave

I still can't decided if i like this film or not. I love Disney films and i am always excited when i here of a new one come out but this time i don't know. I felt like there was something missing from the story and it took me a few times of watching to work out why and then it hit me . . .  there is no Prince Charming or a character of his type which is a constant present in Disney films which i am missing this idea of living happily ever after doesn't occur. I think its because i am so use to the way in which the Disney narrative goes that i feel like the film is missing something with out the 'Prince Charming' type character.

But with that said the film is really good and the animation is spectacular but you wouldn't expect anything less from a Disney Pixar film and it lives up to the Oscar it won for the animation in the film, it is well deserved. The landscape of the film is spectacular and is always outstanding when it comes to modern day animation.

The story follows Merida (Kelly MacDonald) the only daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) but she doesn't act the way she is suppose to, she likes to go off exploring the land and we see this in the opening of the film but her mother Elinor (Emma Thompson) has other ideas on how a Princess should be and Merida doesn't like it at all. She has invited the clans to compete in the Highland Games for Merida's hand in marriage which she isn't to happy about and isn't afraid to voice her opinions.

This leads to a fight between her and her mother which results in Merida running away. She finds herself at the home of a witch (Julie Walters) and gets a spell to 'change her fate' if she gives it to her mother which can only mean one thing, everything goes horribly wrong and Merida has to fix what she has done, not going to tell you what happens because Spoiler!

The story line is quite predictable but we don't watch Disney films for their over complicated story lines because their target audience is children and they want to be able to laugh which this film has plenty off especially with Merida's little brothers  Hamish, Harris and Hubert the triplets who provide some of the best bits of the film with all the antics that they get up to they steal every scene that they are in and add that something extra to the story line

The film is really good and the characters are brilliant, with an excellent plot and i really enjoyed the film but in my opinion there was just that little something missing that would have made the story even better. But the bond that grows between Merida and her mother is touching but hilarious at the same time. All the characters make you laugh especially the triplets and its just a fun family film.

The film stars the voices of Kelly MacDonald, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson and Robbie Coltrane.

If you haven't seen Brave then check it out its currently running on Sky Movies and is available on DVD from amazon for £13.50

Star Trek Into Darkness

I am so excited to see the new Star Trek film.

I keep seeing trailers and TV spots for it and its making me even more excited.

Before i saw the last film i was never really into Star Trek but JJ Abrams sure changed my mind it was a brilliant film and i can't wait to see the new one when it is released this summer.

Chris Pine is back as Captain James T Kirk at the helm of the USS Enterprise that has been called back to earth after an unstoppable force has reeked ciaos and destruction on Star Fleet and Earth. Its up to Kirk and the crew to hunt down and stop who ever is responsible.

Joining Chris Pine is Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, John Cho and Simon Pegg with the fabulous JJ Abrams behind the camera.

I have really high hope for this film as the first was so good, it had me hooked in minutes and hopefully the next will deliver. The trailers look brilliant and i can't wait to see Benedict Cumberbatch as the bad guy as i am so used to him as being the fabulous Sherlock Holmes and i think he is a brilliant actor.

And Chris Pine well don't really have to say much about him, he is brilliant and i think his James T Kirk and Zachary Quinto's Spock have such a great chemistry between them and i am excited to see how that has developed since the first film.

The trailer for the film looks really good so check it out!!

The film is set for release on the 17th May so mark your calenders and if you haven't seen the first film yet do!! its fab!!

Man of Steel

So when i heard that they were going to do another Superman remake i was like okay why?? it hadn't been that long since the last remake but after hearing that Zack Snyder was behind it i was like okay this could actually turn out to be a brilliant film especially as the last remake wasn't brilliant it was okay but nothing special.

After seeing the trailers though i am excited to see the film now it looks spectacular!! Henry Cavill looks like he is going to be a brilliant Superman and hopefully explore the slightly more dark edges that Superman has and that he may not be as straight laced as he appears in other films.

Amy Adams is staring as Lois Lane with Michael Shannon, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe and Laurence Fishburne also star in the latest adaptation.

Everyone knows the story of Superman so i am excited to see how Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Series) adapt the story and which direction that the film will take as the trailers for the film look really good and don't give to much away but it looks fantastic.

Superman is one of the DC classic comic book superheros so hopefully they will get it right.

This summer is going to be the battle of the superheros with Iron Man taking on Superman so it will be interesting to see which one will come out on top.

Henry Cavill looks like he is going to be a brilliant Superman and i can't wait to see the film when it is released on the 14th June 2013

Sky Disney

This has to be my new favourite TV channel.

I was so excited when Sky launched there new Disney Channel, i love Disney films old or new animated or not i love them all and so excited that i can watch them whenever i want!!

I have slowly started to rebuild by Disney collection on DVD since all the ones i have are on video and i no longer have a video player to watch them on :'( so as i slowly build up my collection i can watch all my favourites on Sky.

It gets even better with Sky Go as i can download them on to my lap top with Sky Desktop and watch them when ever i want. It is great for traveling as i can watch the films offline only bad thing is that they delete themselves after 30 days so i have to re-download them if i wan tot watch them again.

If you don't yous Sky Go you should its brilliant you can catch up with all your favourite shows and movies online. I know you can Sky+ everything now but you can't record more than two programs at once and by using Sky Go you can watch it all on the go without missing a single episode of you favourite show.

I think i am going to be watching this channel constantly.

I just hope that they put Beauty and the Beast in there soon as it is my all time favourite.

Check out Sky channel  305

What is you favourite Disney film??

Veronica Mars

Sorry I haven't been posting in while i have had so much uni work to do other wise this post would have been written a while ago.

Congrats Marshmallows thanks to every one's donations Veronica Mars the Movie is going ahead.

If like me you religiously watched the watched the kickstarter page watching the donations coming in and were amazed when the page hit its goal in 11 hours breaking the kickstarter record and that isn't the only record that the project broke. It was the fastest project to get to $1 million and $2 million. It was the highest funded film project at $5,702,153 and is the 3rd highest funded project of all time. All thanks to the record breaking number of backers totaling 91585.

With the amount of money that was pledged we are in for a great film and i am already excited to see the film when it is release next year.

If you were lucky enough to grab and of the packages up for grabs congrats, if i lived in the states i would love to have gone for one of the red carpet packages it would be so cool to go to one and meet all the cast.

The packages up for grabs were amazing and was amazed how quickly some of them ran out, the Logan Lovers packages and the Comic Con packages all went in like 13 minutes!! and i still can't believe that someone pledged $10,000!

I can not wait for all my favourite characters to be reunited on the big screen cause i was proper gutted when the show got cancelled.

Star Kristen Bell will be returning as the teen detective Veronica Mars with Jason Dohring, Percy Daggs, Ryan Hanson, Enrico Colantoni, Francis Capra and Tina Majorino. I hope creator Rob Thomas is hard at work on the script as expect everyone is going to have high expectations for the film.

I am so excited!!

I think this may start a trend as to shows getting a reboot

What shows would you like to see get rebooted????

Dirty Dancing

This is a film that everyone needs to watch!!!

One of my favourite films of ALL TIME!!!!

When i was out with the girls the other night and at least 3 songs from the sound track of this film came on and just made me want to curl up and watch it. Along with Grease i can count on Dirty Dancing to put a smile back on my face when Patrick Swazey famously says "Don't put baby in  the corner" and who doesn't sing with when 'time of your life'.

If you have never seen the film Baby (Jennifer Grey) and her family are on summer vacation to a resort in the 1960's. Baby is the good girl of the family and is going to go into the Peace Core after she graduates from college. During her first few days at the Kellerman's resort Baby meets Johnny (Patrick Swayze) one of the dance instructors and is intrigued by the 'dirty dancing' that she sees when she goes to a staff party with Billy she carries "a watermelon" and ends up dancing with johnny again.

Johnny's dance partner finds out shes pregnant by a guy who doesn't care about her only how he can further himself (not going to mention who it is because SPOILER you just have to watch to find out) any way after some discussion Baby agrees to fill in for Penny and dance with Johnny the only thing is that she doesn't know how to dance and its up to Johnny to teach her. This leads to one of my favourite scenes in the whole film, where they go to the lake to practice the lifts and ignites there love for each other.

I don't really want so say much more because if you haven't seen it then i don't want to give away any spoilers but if you have seen it then you know just how great this film is. It is a film that everyone should see, it is the ultimate love story good girl falls in love with the bad boy who daddy doesn't approve of when actual fact he should be more worried about her sisters boyfriend.

The film stars Jennifer Grey, Patrick Swayze, Jerry Orbach, Kelly Bishop, Jane Brucker, Cynthia Rose, Jack Weston, Max Cantor, Lonny Price and Neal Jones.

The film won a Golden Globe, a Grammy and an Academy award for best song for '(I've had) The Time of My Life' which i still love to this day.

I have heard rumors that they are planning to remake this film and in my opinion it just shouldn't be touched remakes rarely work and in most cases they are always way worse than the original. It is such an iconic film that is loved by everyone across the generations i would hate it if it got remade.

The film is available on DVD from amazon for £3 so its a great bargain and with that price whats left to say.

Rating: 10/10

Whats your favourite part of the film??

Thor: The Dark World Trailer

So excited!!!

The first trailer for Thor 2 has just been released showing Chris Hemsworth back as the Norse God of Thunder.

At the end of the first film we see Thor defeat his brother but end up stuck in Asgard with no way to return to earth. In Avengers we see him manage to return to earth some how which i hope gets explained about getting back to earth after the bridge was destroyed in the first one. Any way Thor comes back to earth and kicks some alien ass with the rest of our favourite marvel heroes.

This time around Thor is to face of against Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) and the race known as the Dark Elves. Exciting times!!

Natalie Portman is back as Thor's love interest Jane as well as Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Zachery Levi and you can't forget the brilliant Tom Hiddleston as Thor's evil adopted brother Loki.

Alan Taylor, better known for directing the brilliant Game of Thrones is behind the camera replacing Kenneth Branagh.

I am hoping along with Iron Man 3 it will help set up for the next Avengers film as it slowly starts to put the pieces together as it did the last time around.

The trailer looks really good and has me really excited to see more!!

Check it out

The film is due out on the 30th October 2013

New Mortal Instruments Trailer

Getting so excited to see this film!!!!!!

The release of the new trailer for The Mortal Instruments has me excited to see this film. The trailer is brilliant giving us little snippets that the previous trailer didn't, including some more Robert Sheehan (Simon) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Jace).

If you haven't read the books, (you need to they are brill!!!), then the basic over view of the story is that Clary (Lily Collins) is a shadow hunter but didn't know about (her mum kept it hidden) it until she meets Jace and his friends and she get introduced into a whole new world of demons, vampires, werewolves and witches and basically shadow hunters are the people who hunt the demons before they can hurt anyone. Clary's mum goes missing and its left up to Clary to find her and stop the bad guys, along the way she discovers who she really is and what her mother has hidden her from.

I love these books so much that i really hope that the film doesn't ruin them for me and that they stick to the book as much as possible because i hate it when they completely change things. The world that Cassandra Clare created is amazing and you can just get lost in the books and i hope that all my favourite bits from the books are in the film plus i can't wait to see some of my favourite characters come to life. The trailer looks really good so i hope that it lives up to my expectations.

The film also stars Kevin Zegers, Lena Headey, Kevin Durand, Aidan Turner, Jamima West, Godfrey Gao, CCH Pounder, Jarred Harris and Johnathan Rhys-Meyers and directed by Harald Zwart.

Before you see the films i highly recommend you read the brilliant books first by Cassandra Clare

The film is due out on the 23rd August.

Who else is looking forward to seeing City of Bones

Veronica Mars The Movie

For years there has been speculation about whether or not a movie of the brilliant teen detective show Veronica Mar will ever get made, with issues surrounding financial and studio backing. But know thanks to a brilliant idea, the film has got high hopes of being made. The film will be funded by fan donations, from everything between $1 to $10000 can be pledged to help raise the goal of $2,000,000 for the film to go a head. Their are different packages up for offer depending on how much you pledge, including signed merchandise  DVD copy of the film and TV series and at the higher end of the scale includes walk on roles and speaking roles in the film.

I love the series and was gutted when they cancelled it but i am so happy with the fact that its getting chance to be made into the film. At last glance the pot was up to $700,000 with 30 days to go and hopefully they will reach the goal for it to be made.

If you never watched the series before check it out, it stars Kristen Bell as Veronica Mars as private investigator working in her high school and then college as she works to solve various mysteries. The TV show also stars Jason Dohring, Ryan Hansen, Enrico Colantoni, Percy Daggs III and Francis Capra. The series was created by Rob Thomas who is behind the idea to get the fans behind the project.

I really hope that the project gets enough money to get the film made.

Fingers Crossed!!

New Iron Man 3 Trailer

Its getting closer and closer to the new Iron Man film to be released, only 51 days to go!!!

Who else is excited, i am especially after the release of the new trailer, which looks awesome!!!

Tony Stark's private life is under attack this time around and is up against his most powerful enemy who will do what ever it takes to destroy him. The Mandarin played by Ben Kingsley is still a bit of a mystery as to where he came from and why he is set to destroy Tony's life, but what we do know is that he is part of a terrorist organization set out to destroy the world.  A lot of the story line is still under wraps but after the attempts to destroy his life Tony sets out to defeat his enemy with only himself to count on to find his way back and protect the ones closets he loves.

The trailer looks awesome with footage that hasn't been seen yet and scenes like his mansion getting blown up expanded to see the real damage makes me excited to see the film, especially with the multiple Suits and the fact that we see other people getting fitted out for suits, with the idea of creating an army. But also when we see Tony getting questioned by reporters about how he is going to fix things shows how they just expect him to solve everything. But leading Tony to discover the answer to the question "Does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?"

Robert Downey Jr is a brilliant actor and i am so glad he is back as Tony Stark with Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Jon Favreau reprising their roles and the additions to the cast with Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak and James Badge Dale completing the main cast. This time around though the director has changed with Jon Favreau stepping back to make way for Shane Black.

After the Avengers i was excited to see where the story was going to go and is it going to start the build up in the story to the next Avengers film. I am also hoping that we might get to see bits and pieces of the other cast  members from the Avengers making cameos, fingers crossed!!

With rumors of this being the last Iron Man circling (i hope its not) i have high hopes for this film being brilliant and I can not wait for it to be released on the 26th April!!!

Twilight Box Set

If your a twilight fan then you have probably had this on back order for months and counting down the days till it arrives. If your an even bigger fan, you have probably not only order Break Dawn part 2 but the whole box set with all 5 films in it.

I have to say, i am a fan of the series since the books were released ( i read all 4 in twice in 4 days), i just couldn't put them down and couldn't wait for the films.

In twilight we fell in love with Edward (Robert Pattinson) and his 'family' of vegetarian vampires and saw the love between Edward and Bella (Kristen Stewart) blossom even in the face of danger coming from James (Cam Gigandet) and his coven.

In New Moon, we all probably cried when Edward left Bella to try and protect her after a disastrous birthday party and saw her relationship with Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) develop, plus we got to see him shirt less ;P, I swear down when i was watching this in the cinema, a 40 year old women sat behind me went full on crazy when he took off his shirt it was bizarre  Not only did we have vampires, werewolves were thrown into the mix. We were all sat there pining away for Edward to come back and be with Bella, and we got our wish.

In Eclipse, we saw Bella struggle to chose between Edward and Jacob, (I was team Edward) and saw her relationship with Edward move to the next level when he asks her to marry him. It would have been perfect if it wasn't for the threat of attack on them by not only the volturi but from Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) and the band of new born vampires she had created to kill Bella. One of my favourite bit about this film was learning more about the secondary characters of Rosalie (Nikki Reed) and Jasper (Jackson Rathbone).

Breaking Dawn part 1, saw the marriage between Edward and Bella and there honey moon to the Isle of Esme, and i will leave it at that. But was does happen is that Bella ends up being pregnant with a half breed, and the issues with what is growing inside her start to emerge especially with in the werewolf pack which leads to Jacob going rouge to protect Bella. It ends on a particularly gory note with the birth of their baby which isn't very pleasant to watch, some girl fainted in the cinema at this point, but it does lead to the birth of Renesmee and Bella becoming a vampire.

Break Dawn part 2, the end of the story, with Bella being a vampire the issues around what sort of life Renesmee will have as she grows at such a fast rate, and Jacob has imprinted (bonded) with Renesmee and Bella isn't to happy with that. The Volturi are coming to attack the Cullens (again) after being tipped of about an imortal child, which leads to a big battle (not going to spoil with details just in case).

I did like the end though with the bit with the last words from the book and then images of all the cast through out the series with their names (character and real name) which i thought was just a really nice way to say good bye to such a successful series.

The series also stars Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Elizabeth Reaser, Billy Burke, Mackenzie Foy, Maggie Grace, Micheal Sheen, Dakota Fanning, Xavier Samuel, Anna Kendrick. I can't forget the amazing author who wrote the books Stephenie Meyer.

The box set is released as well as Breaking Dawn part 2 on the 11th March for amazon. The box set on blue ray ins £35 and the individual DVD is £16.

and here is one of my favourite moments from the Breaking Dawn part 2

What are some of your favourite moments from the series?

Sound City

The nicest rock star in the world Dave Grohl, who lets face it is brilliant at whatever he does, has taken a turn at being behind the camera and has directed a documentary about the famous recording studio Sound City.

I have to say this now that i love Dave Grohl, pretty much loved anything he has done, so i new i would be bias towards anything he will ever do. Personally, i am not really into documentaries either but will watch them occasionally if they are about something i am interested in out is by a director that i like, so when i heard Dave mention the documentary on the Brits the other night i was straight on iTunes to see if it was available yet and just my look it was.

The documentary itself is not only about the recording studio itself but the artists that have used the studio and the stories that they have to offer. There are various different artists and technicians that Dave interviews about the history of the studio, and he takes the stories in chronological order from when the studio opened its doors. Artists from Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, Tom petty, Rick Springfield, Josh Homme, Butch Vigg, Corey Taylor to the crew that run the studio all get interviewed and share the experiences that they had at Sound City.

When Grohl found out that Sound City was closing he went down and bought the Neve 8028 mixing console and set about creating an album, collaborating with some of rocks greatest artists using the mixing board that Dave saved from Sound City, including Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks.

If your a music fan then you will love this and even if your not then i still recommend that you check out as it is really fascinating, I enjoyed how Dave told the story of sound city and sharing its rich history with us. Its Brilliant!!!

You can rent it or buy it on iTunes and its available on amazon for pre-order for £8

So go and check it out.

Fast and the Furious 6

I love this film series, well maybe except for Tokyo Drift (possibly one of the worst films ever) and i can not wait for the sixth to be released, so excited, and not just because they filmed some of this down the road from my house.

Anyway, the last time we saw our favourite street racers they were robbing the most powerful man in Brazil, nicking about $100 million and living happily ever after, well Brian (Paul Walker) and Mia (Jordana Brewster) were living on the beach and expecting a baby.

Agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) enlist the help of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) to help bring down a mercenary organization in return for full pardons for all of their crimes which have prevented them from returning to America. But there are some shock in store as the second in command to the leader of the mercenaries (Luke Evans) is Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) who everyone thought died in the fourth film (she also happened to be Dominic's girlfriend).

Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Sung Kang, Elsa Pataky and Gal Gadot are all back reprising their roles with Justin Lin behind the camera as director.

I am looking forward to seeing this film, its going to be good, well the action will be but maybe the story line won't be but who cares you don't watch these types of films for the story line anyway, but the trailer looks promising!

The film is due for release on the 24th May 2013.

Zero Dark Thirty Trailer

I am still unsure whether or not i want to see this film or not because its not really my type of film but the trailer looks really good and it intrigues me. Some people i have talked to say its to soon to do a film about Osama bin Laden and i am still unsure whether or not i agree with that but the film does look good and it is more about the 10 year hunt for him.

So the film follows the special forces unit assigned to hunt bin Laden over a 10 year period and has been billed "the story of history's greatest man hunt for the world's most dangerous man" and was directed but Oscar winning director Kathryn Bigelow.

The trailer for the film looks really good, following both the team on the ground and the team back in the states trying to work out how to find bin Laden. Its already been nominated for five Oscars and four Golden Globes so it must be good.

The film stars Jessica Chastain, Jason Clarke, Joel Edgerton, Chris Pratt, Jennifer Ehle, Mark Strong, Kyle Chandler and Edgar Ramirez and reunites the Oscar winning director/writer partnership of Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal who both were involved with the Hurt Locker.

I am still 50/50 whether or not i want to see the film mainly because the action/thriller type films don't really appeal to me but the trailer looks really good and i might just make an exception for this film as it does look really good. Might also have to check out the Hurt Locker as well (still haven't gotten around to seeing it).

The film is released on the 11th January so go and check it out.

Jurassic Park 4

It has been rumored for a while that there was going to be a new film in the Jurassic Park series. But it has been confirmed and a release date has been given!!!

So excited!  I love these films, I have very fond memories from my child hood watching these films, well the first two, the third wasn't that good, but the first two were fantastic.

If you have never seen these films then you should as they are fantastic. The basic run down is that Jon Hammond and a bunch of scientists have decided to make dinosaurs on cloned from DNA found preserved in amber and thus decided to turn it into a theme park, but first to test it out they send in a group of people to test out the park, which then leads things to horribly wrong and for the dinosaurs to start eating people.

The second one is slightly different and set on a different island but the dinosaurs are still there and still eating people but with a few different characters, but they are the . Th third one is a bit different where a kid goes missing on Isla Sorna (the island with the dinosaurs in it) and a rescue mission is hatched to go and find the kid with Dr Alan Grant (Sam Neil) for the first film as he is the only one who has ever been there and things go horribly wrong again!! Seems to be a bit of a pattern, but its still good. If you don't like anything to horrible, its not to bad (except when the guy gets ripped apart by two T-Rex's).

Jeff Goldblum stars in both of the first two films with Sam Neil, Richard Attenborough, Samuel L Jackson, Laura Dern, Julianne Moore, Vince Vaughn all star in either of the two first films. The first film won 3 Oscars and the second was nominated for 1, but they were both worthy of numerous  due to the brilliant mind of Steven Spielberg, i love his films but Jurassic Park is one of my favourites and i can't wait for the fourth one its going to be amazing especially if Spielberg is behind the camera.

If you have never seen Jurassic Park you must!!!

You can but the trilogy on Amazon for £10.19 and the Blu-ray for £9

The film is projected to be released in June 2014 and starting to get excited about it.

Can't wait for the fourth one to come out.

The Mortal Instuments: City of Bones Trailer

I love this book!!!

I am so excited to see this film!! The books were amazing so i have really high hopes for the film.

If you haven't read the book(s) and i strongly recommend them and this is kind of an over view of the story anyway Clary (Lily Collins) and her friend Simon (Robert Sheehan) are out at a club one night they find them selves stumbling into a paranormal world full of shadow hunters, demons, werewolves, vampires, witches and some serious family issues. Everything gets even more complicated when Clary's mum disappears and she ends up mixed up in all sorts of trouble but when she meets Jace Wayland (Jamie Campbell Bower) things start looking up and Clary starts to discover things about herself that her mother has hidden from her and starts to explore the powers she finds and fulfill her destiny with the help of her friends.

I really hope that the film follows the same path as the book does because they are brilliant and the trailer looks amazing so i have very high hopes. Staring along side Lily Collins, Robert Sheehan and Jamie Campbell Bower are Kevin Zegers, Johnathan Rhys Myers, Jamima West, Aidan Turner and Lena Headey.
I really hope that director Harald Zwart manages to make the film incredible and try not to change the story to much because the world that Cassandra Clare has created is fantastic and can't wait to see it one the big screen.

The films isn't due out until the summer so there is plenty of time to read the book before the film which i highly recommend or even re read the book.

The film is due out on the 23rd August 2013.
